B · Formal submissions to the Senate

06

Memorandum to the Senate

CEKA’s tool emails your position to the Senate. That is a citizen submission, not a formal public-participation memorandum under a committee notice. Formal memoranda follow the notice, which sets the deadline and how to submit (email, hand delivery or post). Identify any submission as Senate Bill No. 29 of 2024.

07

Formal public petition

A petition is separate from a memorandum (Articles 37 and 119 of the Constitution). Address it to the Clerk of the Senate and meet the prescribed requirements. A completed petition may be emailed to clerk.senate@parliament.go.ke with a scanned page of petitioners’ names and signatures.
